Small mirror - for checking teeth

Antiseptic wipes - general hygiene

Note: Your clinic will provide prescription medications (antibiotics, stronger painkillers) as needed. Basic over-the-counter items are readily available in Albania.

Neck pillow - for comfortable flights and rest

Eye mask & earplugs - for better sleep

Reusable ice pack - for reducing swelling (freeze at hotel)

Straws - easier drinking after surgery (avoid for extractions)

Entertainment - books, tablet, downloaded shows

Comfortable clothing - button-up shirts (no pulling over head)

Sunglasses - for clinic lights sensitivity

European plug adapter - Type C/F (same as most of Europe)

Headphones - for flights and waiting

Camera - document your before/after!

Tip: WiFi is widely available in Albania. Most UK mobile plans include EU roaming, but check your provider. WhatsApp works great for clinic communication.

Money & Payment

Credit/debit cards - Visa and Mastercard widely accepted

Cash in Euros - €100-200 for small purchases (widely accepted)

Small notes - for tips and taxis (€5, €10, €20)

Bank notification - tell your bank you're traveling

The local currency is Albanian Lek (ALL), but Euros are accepted almost everywhere. Clinics typically accept card payments for treatment.

What NOT to Bring

Excessive valuables - leave expensive jewelry at home
Too much luggage - you'll want to travel light after surgery
Hard or crunchy snacks - you won't be able to eat them
Electric toothbrush - manual is better during healing
Whitening products - not suitable during recovery
